Permanent Lighting in Eagle, Idaho

Pure Light Systems is an Eagle company that designs and installs TruLight permanent roofline and landscape lighting. For homes with articulated rooflines, multiple gables and mixed stone, stucco and siding, we plan lighting that follows the architecture: warm white for everyday architectural lighting, holiday and event color when you want it, and landscape lighting that ties the yard in.

Permanent lighting from a local Eagle company

Eagle is where Pure Light Systems is based, so consultations here are close to home. We come out to walk the property, look at the roofline from the street and the driveway, and talk through how you want the house to look at night before recommending a layout.

From downtown Eagle to the neighborhoods along the Boise River and the foothills to the north, the homes vary a lot. That is why every layout starts from the house rather than a standard package.

Lighting the architecture, not just the roofline

Many Eagle homes have articulated rooflines: several gables at different heights, hipped sections, and changes in material from stone to stucco to siding and trim. Outlining every edge on a house like that can look busy. A better approach is usually selective architectural outlining:

  • Light the gables and eave lines that give the front of the house its shape.
  • Keep runs continuous across transitions so the outline reads as one line.
  • Treat the entry and any tower or second-story peak as focal points.
  • Leave minor returns and back elevations dark unless you want them lit.

The track mounts low-profile under the eaves or behind trim, and the lights are designed to blend with the trim when off. On homes with several trim colors, we plan placement around how visible the track will be from the street.

Why dedicated white matters on stone and stucco

Stone and stucco pick up the color of the light on them. Each TruLight light has three dedicated warm-white LEDs separate from its three RGB LEDs, so warm white comes from white LEDs rather than only from mixing red, green and blue.

In practice, that gives you a warm, consistent white that suits stone veneer, stucco, wood accents and painted trim, and works well as everyday architectural lighting. Read more in our stone and brick homes guide.

Holiday color without giving up everyday curb appeal

Permanent lighting should look good on the 300-plus nights that are not holidays. Set warm white on a sunset timer for everyday use, then switch to Christmas, Fourth of July or game-day colors when the occasion calls for it. See permanent Christmas lights.

Zones let you run different looks on different parts of the house, such as warm white on the main roofline with color on a separate section.

Coordinating roofline and landscape lighting

Homes with stone entries, columns, mature trees or landscaped front yards often look unfinished with only the roofline lit. TruLight landscape lighting can light trees, planting beds, the front walk, steps and stonework, and we plan it together with the roofline so brightness and color temperature match.

In the TruLight systems we install, landscape lighting is controlled in the same app as the roofline. Read more about landscape lighting.

TruLight technology

TruLight is a 48V RGBW system with six LEDs per light, three RGB and three dedicated warm white. It supports zones, patterns, sunset scheduling and voice assistants, and is covered by a TruLight limited lifetime warranty on qualifying dealer-installed lighting modules and control box, subject to the manufacturer's terms. See TruLight technology for details and sources.

What affects design and price

Permanent roofline lighting typically runs $27–$30 per linear foot. Where an Eagle home lands depends on:

  • Total roofline footage you choose to light.
  • Number of gables, peaks and transitions.
  • Roof height, pitch and access around landscaping.
  • How many separate elevations are included.

Landscape lighting is custom quoted. See pricing for more detail.

Eagle permanent lighting FAQ

Is Pure Light Systems based in Eagle?

Yes. Pure Light Systems is based in Eagle, Idaho, and installs permanent roofline and landscape lighting for Eagle homeowners and the rest of the Treasure Valley.

How does permanent lighting look on stone and stucco?

TruLight lights include 3 dedicated warm-white LEDs alongside 3 RGB LEDs, so everyday white lighting comes from white LEDs rather than only from mixed color. That warm white tends to suit the tones of stone, stucco and wood trim.

Can you light the landscape as well as the roofline?

Yes. We install TruLight landscape lighting for trees, planting beds, walkways, steps, stonework and entries, and we can plan it together with the roofline so the whole exterior looks consistent.

How is permanent lighting priced in Eagle?

Pure Light Systems typically prices permanent roofline lighting around $27–$30 per linear foot, depending on the home, roofline complexity, access, layout, and project scope. Landscape lighting is custom quoted. We can usually give a general price range by phone or from your online request using satellite-view measurements, then confirm the final price with a free on-site quote.

Is permanent lighting only for the holidays?

No. It can run as soft warm-white architectural lighting on a sunset timer, then switch to holiday or event colors when you want them.
